Kevin Brooks released from NZ NBL gig

Seems Kevin Brooks has been released from the NZ NBL yesterday - cant see any other posts about it - due to poor performances from the team.

His last two games seem to have nailed shut that coffin. Went up against the Heat missing Forman and lost by 20 - that's with a frontcourt of Bakari and Horvath up against Behrendorff and Cartwright. Then lost by 19 to the 3-14, second-to-bottom Jets. (Not even sure that two wins on that roadtrip could've got them into the finals either?)

Kiwihoops said of the Saints before the season "A team spoiled with seemingly bottomless talent" - they've had Bakari, Horvath, Majstrovich, Rice, etc go through the side and started 6-3. Can't blame them for fancying their chances before the season.
