"Moments ago, Sonics Chairman Clayton Bennett and GM Sam Presti met the media to talk about selecting Kevin Durant with the No. 2 pick and confirmed that the Sonics have sent Ray Allen to the Boston Celtics, getting back the rights to No. 5 pick Jeff Green, guard Delonte West and forward Wally Szczerbiak (also part of the deal, not previously reported, is Boston getting the No. 35 pick in the second round; the Sonics will receive a future second-round pick)"
