Maybe he will save your crappy franchise, fexlington
The Lakers are no crappy franchise, you ignorant farmer of pigs. They have a pretty ordinary team at the moment, but a crappy franchise they are not.

9 times NBA Champs &
13 Times runners up

Phoenix were also involved in a GF in the 70s. but you didn't know that. because you hopped on the kobe/shaq bandwagon

ELG - I think you will find that Fezlington - a lot like myself -jumped on the Magic/Kareem/Worthy bandwagon in the 80's and to this day still supports the Lakers.
At least we have had a winning bandwagon to jump on I suppose ;)

I like the Suns, they have had some nice teams over the years. They're a cute little franchise.

Gosh afroman jnr, that might be why the conversation is about "franchises" and not "teams."
The current Suns team is streets ahead of the current Lakers team, but there isn't a word to describe the breath of the chasm that seperates the two franchises. The Lakers are the greater franchise and if you want to argue that point then you are fool.

afroman jnr, the Spurs are looking nice, but they have a long way to go before they are in the heights of the Lakers/Celtics. A long way.
You can march a line of fat men between the Lakers/Celtics and the rest of the league.
But this stat alone should end any debate on the issues in this thread -
Celtics Titles : 16
Lakers Titles : 14
Spurs Titles : 4
Suns Titles : 0
Is the picture getting clearer?
