Valk and Dhu re-signed for 08/09

Vince Marino, the owner of Link Lightning Adelaide, has confirmed today that Vicki Valk (Head Coach) and Tania Dhu (Assistant Coach) have been reappointed in their positions for the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) season 2008/09.

What happens if the Lightning DON'T win the title or don't even make the Grand Final. Or what happens if they then lose the first couple of games next season against say NZ and Bendigo. Watch out for the cheque book!!!!

well they have done a good job so far - but it is a rolls royce team.

Whittle - retiring

Wosnam - ? did i hear talk of her retiring?

Gahan - ?

Screen - ? coming back or eurobasket?

Summerton - ? same as screen

AIS - kids ?

Francis, Martin, Newley, Langford?

duke - ?

King - ?

given the high chance of big overseas offers for our young stars - it is all the more reason that we have to capitalize the season on our great line up that has been put together here this year.
