I think the Sixers were up by 3 at the half, got blown out in the 3rd to be down by 19 and could've tied it on a 3 at the end. Losing by 7

Sixers shot lights out from the 3. If they didn't hit a high % it could've been real ugly.
Dusty was super tough for them. Luke couldn't guard anyone out there.
Hawks only suited 8, missing Saville and their big guy with the Bandana.

Sixers missing Tyndale.

Hawks look to be a better team than the Sixers this year. Not good.

Carlton won the afl pre season finals a couple of years back and finished last during the regular season. I have learnt over the years that pre-season's mean nothing. Its more of a chance of testing out lots of different things.

Pre-season form means nothing. These trial games are casual runs where coaches give the "fringe" players more time to prove themselves and they try out different plays and tricks.
Haven't seen a box score, but Balls averaged 37.8 minutes in the regular season, probably got about 15 mins? The Burd-man averaged 7.0 mins/game in season, but probably got around 30 mins?

Scott's a pretty smart bloke who would keep his powder dry until when it counts.

Bring on the regular season - 21 days to go !

Maybe he learnt from the mistakes BG made in the lead up to the Olympics and worked out he should keep something for the games that matter.
