New Sixers/Lightning Captain
Not sure of the topic has been covered or not already, but just wondering who the next most likely candiate/s to be chosen to capatin the sixers now that Brett Maher has gone? Alot of talk about Holmes, an all-time great product of SA basketball, an inspirational leader back at Eastern but surely not enough experince and may be a burden of him whilst I think many would agree he would need to lift his game a tad to really influence the side? Davidson a great candiate but maybe age against him? Although a season or two wouldn't hurt and could nuture the role to an upcoming junior or until the next best candiate is ready.
I'm not sure if Sammy is retiring next year with the Lightning but just wondering who is next likely to captain the side? I think in time we will see Cayla move quickly into that role unless Erin returns from overseas soon however I'm thinking Marino, if she wants the role, she has got her dad on her side after all.
