Trophy suggestion: best overall senior results?

BSA should have a trophy for the club that records the best overall senior results over a season from all grades.

ie aba, div 2, div 3, div 4 and div 5.

the sanfl have something similar called the thomas seymour-hill trophy - combined results for points and overall winner gets the trophy.

it provides recognition to the clubs that make the effort accross the board to organize and maintain commitment to the senior programme.

Thomas Seymour-Hill Trophy is for the winner of each years SANFL League Premiership, the big cup trophy the winners carry on their lap of honour.

Having said that, I do like the idea you proposed.

"BSA Senior Champion Club Cup" ???

sorry - i know there is a trophy in sanfl for clubs that have the highest combined total from all grades - ie 1st = 10 pts 2nd = 9 points and it is all combined -

ie
norwood 5th in one grade = 5 pts
then 2nd in reserves = 9pts
u19s 3rd = 8pts
u71s 8th = 3 pts

and then it is all added up

After 10 rounds ABL, 12 rounds seniors, counting both north and south pools, the score would be:

men winner sturt 18
r/up south 11

women winner norwood 16
r/up sturt 11

overall winner sturt 29
r/up norwood 17

Is Sturt starting to dominate in seniors as well?

Is it a coincidence that this start to happen 10 years after they have overhauled their junior program?
