Forget lightning not being able to beat a top ABL team,they wouldn't beat a top 4 U23 side. They may end up losing twice to an AIS side which is no world beater.

The lightning have changed personel every game.

Never played the same 10 twice in a row

I would suggest its more that the staff have no credibility in coaching in Australia, and that's why they cant run a WNBL std program.

Best way to send a message is don't turn up to the next match!!

Then they might get the picture

Taking a pseudonym that was an white elephant is apt multi function polis because Lightning has become just that. The personnel are average ball players who have not got the necessary mongrel to go to the next level.

Beaten 72-59 by West Coast Waves in Geraldton on Saturday, the Lightning's record now has slumped to 1-6 and it is only out of the bomb shelter courtesy of AIS's lowly 1-7 mark.

And AIS's solitary win was over Adelaide. With Townsville on Saturday next on the schedule, Adelaide is on course for the worst year in the club's proud history after taking its first lump last season when it missed the finals series for the first time.
