mavs women beat south
in one of the upsets of the round so far the mavericks women lead by the solid amanda williams (18 points half a dozen rebounds and assists) and the emerging cayla francis (18 points 11 rebounds) beat south at marion in a very entertaining and interesting game of womens bball.
interesting in the fact one of the referee's had to be subbed off for the final 6 minutes of the 3rd qtr, because he had a blood nose!!!!
well i guess there's always a first :)
well done mavericks and well done to the south girls for their great attitude at the end of the game when they sportingly congratulated the girls for the win.
