went down by 2 (71-73)
great way to fight back after being 10 points down at one point

20secs 71-71 toni had two free throws missed both
suzy fouls after rebound got fouled off
come down the court bishop blocks jarry and after a massive over the top foul with cambage practically climbing hill's back scored to win the game

great game just our girls never looked like they were really in the game

The real Bulleen showed up today and deserved the win. Camage showed real maturity, if she plays with that poise she will become the player we all expect her to become.

Luv the typical Lightning fan comment re: Camage over the back. Not a chance, the game was in the players hand all night - refereeing was poor but consistent so the lightning have only themselves and the one-dimensional coaching strategy to blame.

The lightning continually bombing into batkovic & bishop wasn't consistently resulting in a score. Rather than re-adjust the lightning continued with the tactic meaning Marino, Screen, Hill, Edmonson, etc. couldn't get into the game and only made a minor impact.

Big win to Tom Maher as a coach today. Big question for Bulleen is how to play with a rusty Sam Richards at pg in 2 weeks time. Proud to be from Bullen today!

Bulleen will want to have Richards back for the GF because they looked pretty fragile at times in that game despite the substantial leads they got out to.
I also feel like the Lightning have more potential improvement in them than the Boomers do, after Marino, Screen and Batkovic all had poor games by their standards. Poor Suzy couldn't buy a basket. For Bulleen, Kunek wasn't her usual efficient self either, and Harrington is a better shooter than she showed today.
Having said that about the potential improvement, getting Sam back running the point would be a big boost because Harrington & Todhunter were pretty patchy. The starting 5 would look a lot better. Got to love having Leedham back - such a smart player.

Awesome game to watch from two championship-calibre teams.
