I used to love watching his dunks but seriously he is the most over rated player in the NBA today, Fullstop.

He is not over rated. He is averaging 20 points 11 rebounds and 3 assists this season on a playoff team. He just has more hype around him because he is dunking on people like no one ever has and the hype is well deserved.

He does tend to fend off a lot though, not saying he's not athletic but I wonder how many times he's been called for an offensive foul for fending off??

Alright what are his strengths other then athleticsm? And every single one of his facials involves his left hand pushing off the defender! Every time! What are defenders supposed to do when a huge athletic bloke comes at them and basically pushes them downwards. If they reffed him properly i think he would be more likely to average 15 and 10.

This is such a weak argument, it would be like saying "how fast would Thorpey swim if he had tiny feet and hands" or "Wilt wouldn't have been as good if he was only 6 foot 6 and not athletic". Obviously athleticism is a huge part of Griffin's game, but so what? He's playing to his strengths and is extremely effective.

So many haters! it was a nice aggressive dunk. You guys wouldn't be hating so much if you were coaching him. You would be over the moon seeing your power foward taking it hard to the ring every time and not being soft. you play to how the reffs are calling it and thats what he is doing
