see the news reported that some usa college bballers here for AFL draft - sign of things to come ?
be interesting if they hang around for a bball game as well.

AFL just keeps getting bigger . Each team can have 6 Internationals on top of all the others , like those that just miss NBA selection.
NBL points cap restricts us , as they are 10points

These guys are 'former' basketballers. Not like they are going to head back to the NBA if they fail at the AFL.

I was listening to Tagh Kenneally on ABC radio eith er Saturday or Sunday morning and he was asked about his role at the moment and he has been across the world this year actively looking at other countries and sports because it has been identified a shortage of 200cm+ players at the moment. He spoke about college guys who have been in a 'high level' system for 4 years and when they finish and don't go onto a professional league and there is nothing amatuer set up in their country so here is a chance to make a living doing something at a high level.
Can you imagine years to come AFL having an 'import rule' no more then say 5 'internationals' in your starting team?????
