One of the best sports owners of all time. Very passionate and always ensured entertainment was delivered. Some of the best cheerleaders on the court too.

Helped bring the Showtime era together and the modern day Shaq/Kobe duo and Kobe then onwards etc.

Listened to a fabulous interview on ESPN this morning with Magic Johnson. Magic stated that Buss was like a father to him and that he learnt all about business from Buss. They were close friends and spent a great deal of time together including playing cards in Vegas and partying (in their younger days) and that Buss was a real ladies man. Buss also enabled Magic to become a part owner of the Lakers and also advised Magic at the time he was contemplating buying the Dodgers. Appears Buss was a great guy and will be missed by a great many people.

Probably the best owner in the game for the fact he combined it all; great product, showmanship, knew how to get people involved. Thank god his son has taken over though, that's great for us celtics fans

I remember this world war II movie where a group of resistance fighters sabotaged a jerry bus, causing it to crash and killing its occupants. It was some real sneaky shit. Not sure if that was based on a true story though.
