Jack Lopez to join Montana Grizzlies 2013-14

The University of Montana Grizzlies went "down under" to wrap up their 2013-14 recruiting class, announced eighth-year UM head coach Wayne Tinkle today (Tuesday, June 11).
Jack Lopez, a 6-5, 210-pound shooting guard from Bankstown, Australia, has accepted a scholarship to play for the Grizzlies.
"Jack is a 6-5, athletic wing who can really shoot the ball, and I think that once he gets his feet wet he might be able to help us as a freshman," Tinkle said. "He has a ton of international experience, so he will add great maturity to our team even though he is a true freshman.
"We are excited to land a player of his caliber from Australia," Tinkle said. "This could open up some doors for us in the future. We are extremely happy to add Jack to our Grizzly basketball program."
