Wow, that Norths line in the women's is pretty ridiculous

Yes, even more so when you consider that all those teams went through their comps undefeated apart from 16W1 who dropped 1 game

Yes, and that was because the state players were rested.
Congratulations to Norths, but not good for the health of the competition.

It will be very interesting to see whether the Hornsby women can retain and develop their u12 group. I agree that it is not in the best interests of the competition for one association to be so dominant. That's not a knock on Norths, I don't know how they've arrived where they are and if they got there through excellent coaching and development pathways, good on them. But if they have such a strong program in place on those fronts, it would only be enhanced by having strong programs to play against.

Did anyone watch the men's u18s final?? Did any of the state players show up, or did someone else take charge?

Hills couldn't keep Norths off the glass, or the FT Line for that matter.
For Hills Will Pearce and Cairon Fitzgerald were best. In the end Hills didn't hit enough long ball to negate the size advantage of Norths.

What about 16 Men and Women? How were those games?

Re U18M Final.
I was fortunate enough to watch/scout the game.
Will Pearce, a non state player, was best on ground for Hills with 21 points. He shot 100% in the first half with 15 points.
Elijah Boateng had 0 points and five fouls, and Jayden Prakash had 2 points. Both represented NSW Metro this year.
The only NSW Metro player to show up was Mitch Evans who had 14 points.
For Norths Kieran Hayward had 20 points, Jordan Hunter had 17 points (NSW Metro Reserve), and Brennan Rymer had 13 points.
This is going to sound farfetched but Hills only shot 5 free throws the entire game (on 3 trips to the charity stripe), as opposed to Norths who shot 36.

Good on Evans for showing up, but even better for the non-State players who had a chance to shine. Looks like it was a game for those who didn't get the glory down in Canberra. What slowed Pierce down?? Quite impressive to drop 15 on 100% shooting.

^Indeed it was.
For the majority of the 2nd half Jordan Hunter matched up against him, altered a lot of his jump shots. He only managed to hit two 3pters.
He was very impressive in the 1st half nonetheless.
