I know Vic pulled out a few years back, that year had NSW Metro, NSW Country, Vic Country, QLD North I think it was, NZ, possibly SAC and maybe another team.

It was a fantastic tournament for the age group, great for families to go to and even take an extra week to stay and holiday if it suited.

Cost, for some states was high, but if cost was the only reason this event has drifted away it isn't a good thing, all such events cost a similar amount, so I am sad to hear this news about a tournament that we as a family found very enjoyable at the time...

cost was too high, players were paying ~$1000 for 5-6 games.


Coaches paid $250 for the privilege of taking a wk off work to coach.
