Does Ben Simmons have a nickname (google says not really).
Big Ben is too British, Fresh Prince too American.
I'm pushing for 'Benno Simmo' or just 'Simmo'.
Any other ideas?

If one more Australian sportsperson lands another cringe-worthy, jingoistic nickname, such as The Scud, The Missile or even Aussie Kim, then I'm leaving! I'd much rather he just remain Ben Simmons.

Noticed the other day that Basketball Reference has: "Fresh Prince, Benny, The Yank, Big Ben, The Wizard of Oz".
I tweeted this today, but 538 projects the 76ers to overtake the Cavs in the East during the regular season which would be pretty remarkable for Brett Brown given the name-players Cleveland have had through this season. Only two games behind them at the moment and their March schedule isn't too bad from here.
