I know BSA is a bit slow but seriously how bad is the decision making at this organisation?
Summer Season is the grading season
After round 9 in Dec, the pools are set for State Champs, with may one or two exceptions
Two weeks till State Champs, now fixtures, no pools ? WTF ?
Winter Season
No rounds post round 5 and when asked , BSA response " rounds 1-5 are grading rounds" WTF
Isn't that what Summer is about ?
Since round 13 of Summer, some teams will only have played 1-2 games till May 10-11 ? WTF ?
How is BSA surviving with no income ?
How are clubs issuing subs for Winter 2018 when they have only played 2 rounds ? wTF
Message to BSA!
Clubs are run by volunteers and you need to lift your performance
Why is BSA not moving forward ??
New CEO doesn't seem to be on top of it
Thoughts ??????

Interesting how some teams have up to 3
Home games and others have none.

More interesting which teams have the Saturday Byes. Looks like those with State players ! How surprising.

My team has 0 state players and has a bye on Saturday. Go figure.

When u get the bye is based on the gradings. I cant remember the exact process but those that are top of there pool (ie. Came 1st or 2nd after 9 rounds of summer) get the sat afternoon bye.

Here come all the excuses for not performing at state champs. If coaches have been on their game they would have organised internal games and trained all the way through. Also if they were smart they would have figured this was gonna happen when BSA said we were starting later and then entered the Easter carnival to get extra games in.
There was plenty of notice for clubs to organise suitable prep. I for one think it's an advantage because Teams have now had 4-5 weeks plus a tournament to give themselves new looks or polish up. But hey by all means start making excuses for underperforming because that’s what players need right? To be handed excuses to lose prior to competing

You are missing the point having a home game may not make a difference in wins or losses but it certainly makes a difference with convenience, familiarity etc to kids as does a bye on Saturday as opposed to playing three games in one day regardless of how well you prepare. Everyone has been training extra that has nothing to do with the overall fixture

After a while you realise, who cares.
Most kids are out there for fun with their mates, regardless of what pressure they are getting from parents and coaches. Let them play without tarring it with negativity about biases or chances of titles lost by game schedules ffs.
Stop hovering, stop worrying, no amount of frustration will change a thing.
Let them lead a bit more, drive them to their games, cheer them on and unplug your obsession a bit, there is so much more to life than junior basketball for most of these kids.
