He is so good the team often waits for him to do something.

The Celtics have themselves fallen into the same trap with Tatum (and Brown) but are now moving the ball much more.

Given the Celtics are top of the East along with winning 9 of their last 10 games I dont think they will pull the trigger on a trade like that.

As for Doncic I dont think his game style suits playing alongside stars, he is a James Harden type of player who is an extremely talented player but come playoffs teams can gameplan against you to limit the damage and make the rest of the guys try beat you.

One man shoes will not win titles. As good as the GOAT of any sport in Jordan was finally convinced by Phill Jackson in the late 80s you have to play within a team structure to win. Even Jordan couldn't win in a one man show structure

Dallas really shouldn't be 1-2 games behind the Clippers!

Favouring the Mavericks is that the West is fairly open this year. Surely Utah can't sustain this form all season. No one in the bottom pack beside Golden State will want to move up.

But there's a big difference between making the post-season and being a contender.
