Yes, a good spread of champion sides across many different clubs.
Hopefully a sign of equilibrium throughout the competition for the new season ahead.
That said, the finals teams were still pretty full with the big strong clubs, but the final results were well spread.

I'd agree there were no real close games, but I cant see how that's a concern that can be controlled or influenced. Isn't it just a sport thing?

Not too many 1 / 2 final ladder positions amongst the grand finalist in VC, so closeness of the games is just what happens on the night surely?

If a GF average margin of win is over 20 ppg that is a concern, even if the clubs are varied.

Take the U20 results out and its over 25 ppg. Not the showcase BV would have been hoping for.

I understand big wins in Grand finals don't make for great spectacles, however, I'm not sure you can have an even competition and not have blow outs like we've just seen. See below in brackets, final ladder positions at the end of the season, prior to finals. Only one GF where 1st played second. All the others were unpredictable lines ups for the final game and the U16G result was a complete script flip from end of year results.

Honestly, this is just a sports thing, blowouts or close games cant be managed unless you create low numbers of super seeded teams, but then the competition is weakened again.
