anyone much hope and insite beyond vic for a double in men and women?

Earlier this year

I think VIC Metro will be right at the pointy end in both men's and women’s, but my intel on VIC country is that both are off the pace in this age group. There are a couple of teams north and west of the vic border looking like serious challengers to metro in both men’s and women’s, it promises to be a very interesting tournament

Two months ago

NSW teams out earlier this week. Both country men and women look particularly strong, the women having a large number of the team that won club champs in 14's, and the country boys having added a big pickup, with the addition of Lewis Gommers, who was leading scorer in championship division at Eltham Dandenong, and has apparently relocated to Albury. Both will be teams to watch.

On the girls side, VM on paper almost a certainty for Gold - who is challenging for the podium places? Any big ins/outs?

I don't know this age group too well, but from what I've gathered:

Boys - Vic Metro favourites, SA Metro and Vic Country expecting to medal. Queensland South, NSW Country, NSW Metro and potentially SA Country all in the mix too.

Girls - Vic Metro favourites again. Open race between Vic Country, NSW Country, NSW Metro and SA Metro for a podium finish. Queensland should be much worse than the last few years, but by how much I'm not sure. South in particular could be a dark horse.

Was surprised by SAC boys. almost taking VICC. Looking forward to watching the boys comp unfold.

Was also surprised by SAM getting smashed in 4th quarter by 20 points to lose having clawed back to be haead after a dismal 1st qurter.

cannot see anyne taking down VICM in girls.
