Tickets for this went ridiculously fast. I was on about 10 mins before it opened and was still like 7000th in the queue. By the time i got to the front of queue there was only single seats left for either of the games.

I view that as a good outcome - you can spend that money on a real game.

I'm glad they've sold out because it means maybe next year a decent NBA team may bother. I know everyone is a bit 'meh' on the Pelicans but I personally didnt think we'd ever get an NBA team touring here and this is a step in the right direction.

Sold out instantly by scalpers or real fans though? If it's the latter then cool.

Remind me, didn't New Orleans promise to bring Zion and the rest of the main roster to play. But won't it just be like the usual preseason games, the starters will get a few first quarter touches then it's the bench?
And saw that Zion is being sued over some serious allegations. They're civil not criminal so wouldn't expect it to affect him leaving the country. And won't comment on why it's not criminal, but it further muddies his character. And I think his contract isn't guaranteed, the pelicans can just walk away.
And with his injury history, would they even risk him after a long flight, especially if he comes in out of shape to training camp.
When they play a real game I'll be really interested, this would be ok if the price and seats are good.
