Girls side from Victoria is incorrect

It's,
Kilsyth, Eltham, Melbourne, Dandenong from Metro.

Pakenham from Country.

Bulleen didn't qualify but were offered a spot as a NT team pulled out.

Keilor didn't make.

some of the country boundaries around a lot of capital cities are out of date IMO. Sure in 1970 they were country - but many fringe metro areas are a full metro existence.

With the fixtures now out for this tournament, who are the teams to watch?

I think this is the most open for a few years with no super team like Casey, Dandenong and Nunawading in the last 3 years

There are some pools of death along with some easy pools. No doubt the Logan, North and Nunawading a massive pool with someone that could win it missing out.

Yeah you're not wrong about that pool how do you get QLD#1, SA#1 and VIC#2 in the same pool. Begs the question what’s the purpose of seedings?

Top team on the girls side will the Cockburn Cougars IMO, no team has come close to knocking this group off all year and I don't see it happening this tournament.

Boys side will be an interesting watch, will likely be QLD, VIC taking the 1-2 spots, not sure who takes the third.

Does anyone know why Keilor didnt go on the boys side? I watched them win Classics and they looked dominant!

Massive IMO - girls comp -

Norwood may just squeeze into the 8.

Forestville 9-11th placing - they only scored 4 field goals today - stats look like a lot of fouls.

West 12-16

8th would be a good placing. Best that could be expected.

Another Nationals down, and again BA show how utterly useless and disinterested they are in doing their jobs.

Some large descrepencies between genders for each state (That Parent, I hope you're paying attention). Big issues for Vic (boys) and SA (girls) in particular.

Earlier this week

Logan got some quality recruiting going on in every age group. Well played.

Also a big shoutout to Basketball NSW, where inclusivity is seen to be the most important thing they do. Not sure I understand the inclusivity however when they select 5 Metro Boys teams and 0 Country Boys teams.

1 Vic Metro boys team in the top 6.

Congrats to Cockburn, hopefully all locally developed players.
