The best basketball player that opted for AFL instead?

I recently saw Indy Cotton's signing to Adelaide. I haven’t seen much of his game but can see that he has represented Australia. It got me thinking, who has been the biggest what if? What if they stuck to it and pursued basketball- are there any that could have cracked the NBA even for a short stint or have they all come to the conclusion they wouldn’t make it?

A few names come to mind:

Petracca
Pendlebury
Blicavs
Greenwood
Goldstein

Alex Condon seems he could go either way too.

Not quite in the same boat but have to wonder what Craig Moller would have looked like if he'd pursued basketball from the beginning and not had the AFL detour

Grundy wasn't that good, just a big lad. I feel for Moller, there wasn’t any choice if you wanted to make some coin all those years ago, now LK has got the league very competitive and reasonable pay packet, you can even get paid going to college. Basketball all over the globe has had a good growth spurt.
