ESPN seem to be showing the Intercontinental Cup 3rd place game and final that afternoon/night (which Foxtel list as the Continental Cup).

Hopefully they get something worked out.

Found both of Sunday's games scheduled on Fox Sports 505.

Thursday's Panathinaikos BC v KK Partizan game is also on 505.

Any news regarding streaming services for this? Can't see it anywhere on Disney+ and I emailed the NBL and their media person yesterday morning but have not yet had a response.

Keen to watch, but as its interstate I can't get there.

But not on Kayo Freebies as of last night. Sucks having to miss the Sixers game against Panathinaikos but at the end of the day it's just a pre-season game.

Just re-read and saw that it competes with NBL season opener, Tas v MU from 7.00. Think I'll watch Euro's first, NBL replays guaranteed, not sure for one-offs.

Go back and forth? Never! Maybe!

When did Mojave King sign with Panathinaikos?

An average player in the NBL lands a spot on a roster of an elite Euroleague team? Have the NBL pulled some strings here?

Panathinaikos has a bunch of key injuries. They are missing 3 starters and their 7th man.

Their starting point guard, TJ Shorts is out. Their starting small forward, Cedi Osman is out. Their starting center Mathias Lessor is out. And their 7th man, Marius Grigonis is out.

So this should be a really big opportunity for the NBL to get a win against a EuroLeague team.

https://www.eurohoops.net/en/euroleague/1869646/cedi-osman-sidelined-indefinitely-panathinaikos-euroleague/

"Panathinaikos Aktor is dealing with several preseason injuries, including Cedi Osman carrying an ankle issue from his participation with Turkiye in EuroBasket 2025.

The 30-year-old small forward has been sidelined indefinitely, starting from the seventh annual Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournament to be held in Australia. With T.J. Shorts II, Mathias Lessort, and Marius Grigonis previously ruled out, Osman did not make the trip for the upcoming prep games opposite against Partizan Mozzart Bet and Adelaide 36ers."

what a great event for the game here in australia.

was great to watch and many lessons to learn.

An awesome cultural experience too.

36ers and kings will have their work cut out over the weekend !

Hope we get more of this sort of thing - fans voting with their feet !!!!

Kings doing good, Partizan got a few rookies playing. Davis has settled very nicely at kings, he's going to be a very good player in a top league eventually. Cooks also looking much better than last season.

Maric also a top bloke. Kings certainly looking good, Delly, Davis, Cooks will certainly lead them to a better season, wether the back up fives and fours are good enough, certainly got enough guards.

Absolute cracking game, Cooks was huge, just can't make free throws. Maluach was very good imo off the bench. While Noi is an exciting player on offence I’m just not convinced on his D. Kings will be around the mark, just think not much behind Cooks or Soares. Guards and threes they are deep.

Adelaide did well for much of the first half but the talent deficit and the Greeks sides size wore Adelaide down which had cotton back for only his first hit out and were missing montrez. Valuable hit out for the Sixers.

Very enjoyable game, as a neutral you just can't help but love how Bryce Cotton goes about it, sixer should be reasonably happy despite the loss. Anyone think VB will get a contract, fouled out in under 16 minutes, I just don’t see it. Humphries and Cheatham also very good.

It would be a bit unfair to judge VB on that performance alone. Adding him would depend on how high expectations are regarding bringing in another import. They might not have the money to spend anyway. It seems he can to a bit of everything at the same time as Adelaide not really knowing what they need. Just saying, if the expectations are not high, we could probably do worse.

I think the league can be proud of how we matched up today. The Euroleague is unfair to compare to a domestic league, in that the talent is sourced from across the continent, and indeed the world, whereas we have 3 imports, and the rest are Australians. And while it is fair to acknowledge that these are preseason games, the fact that, man for man, we can make these teams work - teams worth 10 times our salary cap - I think its a testament to the direction the league is heading and the development of Australian basketball.

Vintage Bryce and the 36ers competed impressively against Kendrick Nunn who individually earns 3 times the NBL salary cap, and his team who are short-priced favorites for the upcoming Euroleague season.

I went to the games tonight. The Euros really hype things up! Loved the Partizan victory song and the intro for Panathinaikos was pretty energised too. Sydney did well against Partizan, but a 50-50 block-charge call went against Kendric late and that put Sydney up against it.

Bit of a blow to hear Trez was out just before game time. I can't believe this stupid weed violation is still hanging over him! Need to get that sorted ASAP or cut him loose!

Sixers surprised me by holding the lead in a scrappy game for nearly three quarters, DJ and Cotton showing their shooting class. Isaac and Cheatham did a pretty good job defensively most of the game. I was not far from the Panathinaikos bench and Holmes and Hernangomez were both breathing hard when they came off, so our guys did not make it easy on them.

Bit unfortunate that Flynn was in foul trouble all game. He made a few nice plays, but didn’t get a chance to really impact the game. Drove to the basket late in the game when Nunn bodied him pretty hard, but he was strong enough to finish through it and make a circus shot. He has looked really good for NZ and us in preseason overall though. Possibly the player I am most looking forward to seeing this season other than Cotton.

Kenyon did well and just looks like a guy you can count on to do his job. Should be a good pickup. Isaac White looked a little nervous and athletically overmatched early, but worked his way into it later and made a couple of nice shots. Keanu didn’t do anything wrong, but had very limited minutes.

Blake Jones has surprised me in pre-season. Thought he has done alright, but looked a bit overawed by the occasion tonight? Didn’t do as well as I think he could have. Hope the Sixers keep him around while Griscti is out. Anyone know what his background is? Had never heard of him until he lobbed up on the Sixers in pre-season.

Vrenz B? Has some skill, but folds like a cheap tent when challenged physically. He’s the bankrupt man’s Kristaps Porzingis! I hope the Sixers don’t entertain keeping him around if Trez misses more than a few games.

Jones was with Brisbane in 21 as a DP (He's a QLDer), then went off to US for college with George Mason University, the University of Montana and California State University, then to the NBL1 this year. Luke Cann was at Brisbane when Jones was a DP there, so assuming that's where the hookup came from.

I loved what the Panathinaikos coach said in the presser about the NBA, describing it as "show" basketball and said that Euroleague is more competitive, with every game at playoff intensity.

He referred to the reduced ratings in NBA viewership as evidence of his point.

He acknowledged that playoffs and conference finals in the NBA are high quality, but overall claimed that right now Euroleague is a better form of basketball.

Couldn't stay for the Sixers game unfortunately, but Kings-Partizan was an amazing experience, with both sides playing hard and trying to win. Kings were in danger of falling behind a couple of times but played their way back into it and had a few of the best looks they could hope for to tie it up.

The Partizan imports were super impressive - any one of them would be an MVP candidate in the NBL by themselves.

Really hope we see more of these games next season.
