schedule for a VJBL Championship player

Interested what a weekly schedule for a VJBL championship level player peak season would be ?

I'd imagine -

2 x team practices
1 x individual or high performance training
1 x club game
1 x other game (school domestic team)

keen to hear from other states too

then off season.

My kids (u12 and u16) per normal week:
2 x 2hr rep training
Rep game
1hr domestic training
Domestic game

My daughter also does a separate group training session with a private coach.
She also fills in for some older teams from time to time. We don't make her do anything extra. She asks to do it. She is not happy sitting still

what days and what times ? any morning sessions ?

how does the U12 handle a 2hr training ?

Do you find the domestic training more social than learning ?

Our club does one rep training on a weeknight then one on Sundays. The u12 has been fine with 2hr sessions.
Some people say 2 hours is too long but he will go to training on Sundays then spend the rest of the day playing on the court in the backyard or kicking a footy. Most 9-10 year olds have energy to burn.
As long as the sessions are fun as well I don't have a problem with it.

I coach both domestic and rep and yeah the domestic is a bit more social. I actually use the sessions to focus on the basics as I have a mix of rep kids and domestic only. Good chance for the rep kids to polish up on the basics and the domestic kids to keep learning.

Earliest rep session is an 8am start on a Sunday

My daughter just finished her 5th rep season in VJL6 playing u16s. Per week...
Training
- 3 hours rep training across 2 sessions
- 2 hours domestic training
- 1 hour school training
Plays
- 1 rep game
- 3 x domestic games (2x u16 & 1x u18)
- occasional High School tournament
Coaches
- assistant coach to u14s domestic team; training 1 hour & plus game
- Aussie Hoops program 1 hour

She's not VC, and loves the team element of the sport. Basketball is part of her life, but is not her entire life. VC-level players I know would do the same as above, but usually another session with a dedicated coach, plus is good/fortunate enough get into High Performance state level programs.

Yesterday

My daughter just finished up her u/12 VC season. Her week is as follows:

2 x REP training sessions per week
1 x DOMESTIC training per week
1 x 1on1 coaching session per week - NBL1 Athlete/Trainer
1 x group training per week - NBL trainer

She only has 1 domestic team, others have put their kids in multiple teams, we have prioritised the trainings over extra game.

School holidays multiple camps each week.

We continue to push to minimise the gap between 12's & 14’s
