No Fagan, Gardiner, Nousis, Fakalata etc
Boys also missin a whole bunch. Not sure what's going on with so many out.

Relevant to Taia McMechan...

Players who compete for a country after age 17 are then tied to that country. While a player can switch countries under certain conditions, such as if they played for a different country before turning 17 and the federations agree, a special exception exists to change nationality to a "country of origin" for the development of basketball.

...she is still only 16 years old.
