Hawks v Bullets Round 4
With losing records to start the season, this game becomes very important for both teams.
Ordinarily, it would be easy to pick the Hawks for their 1st win of the season but they have struggled in their openers and have just parted ways with their back up PG, import JaQuori McLaughlin.
An issue in itself, but starting PG, Will Hickey is injured so not available either, leaving the Hawks exposed in the back-court with Bayles in charge and help coming from SG Harvey, 2 x DPs, McDowell-White and Ball, and 1 x NRP, Antonio.
Levelling the negatives, the Brisbane Bullets, who are still without 3 key players on the injuries list in Norton, McDaniel and Holt, have parted company with their starting SG, import Javon Freedom-Liberty. So, Taine Murray should get the start at SG.
IMO Brisbane's biggest advantage is having starting PG Jaylen Adams available to control the game. Along with Murray, Dufelmeier(NRP) and Devers(DP), Brisbane will miss JFL's scoring but looks better able to cover their current deficiencies, which obviously helps heaps.
As offensively potent as the Hawks can be, their weakened back-court may be their downfall. Brisbane by 10 plus.
