WNBA 2026 Season

Huge offseason ahead with the CBA up for renewal and the players having more leverage than ever before, and Napheesa Collier adding some spice to the mix with her comments about the league & commissioner Cathy Engelbert.

The change of CBA has also resulted in most players being out of contract now, so there's potential for a ton of free agency movement.

To top it off, we have Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo joining the league for the 2026 season.

Toronto have just snapped up Sandy Brondello to be their inaugural head coach.
Portland have already announced Alex Sarama as their coach, which seems a nice choice.
NY, Seattle & Dallas are coachless atm.
Interesting to see former Sydney Kings coach, Will Weaver, mentioned among the leading candidates for the NY job.

very interested how Sarama's style translates. He has some great concepts.

Lets go Tempo!

I've never really got behind a team properly before and just usually gone with supporting the Aussies, but now that there's a team in TO where my NBA team is, I may as well finally pick them as my team.

Logo isnt amazing though. Hope it gets better from there.
