As much as i hate top say it, I think Brett should now start to look elswhere (maybe Europe) to finish of what has been an outstanding career. Unquestionable loyalty, however, now time to take care of himself.
Why would you want to hang around this organisation. I hate to think what the next offer placed to him would be.
He might as well, because our team will suck next season. He is a great player and i have been hoping this day will not come for when he will leave but i think it's time to go to europe cause the sixers won't be much use to him.

Maher is a legend and i wish he was still in the Boomers..... i dont think he should bail on the sixers.... could u imagine the 6ers without him???????

Brett Maher has rumoured links to the Pembroke Year 10 B team. When asked about it he said "I'm weighing up my options, its a difficult choice and im not really sure which team will win more NBL games this season"
